Get your very own Rough Country CV Drive Shaft! This extended drive shaft is designed to promote a better geometry on any Super Duty onn suspension lift. This upgrade helps eliminate vibration issues and is much more durable than the factory shaft operating on a lifted vehicle. The factory driveshaft will incur damage if the suspension is flexed to full droop. Rough Country's upgrades corrects this issue and promotes the proper geometry in all on and off-road scenarios!
This double cardan style CV drive shaft is necessary for Jeep JK models equipped with 3.5-6-inch short arm suspension lifts or 2.5-6-inch long arm suspension lifts. It features a replacement flange for the differential pinions as opposed to using an adapter flange. These flanges are machined from solid billet steel. Tom Woods designed this to accept standard "off the shelf" mating flanges. If these flanges ever break, you at least stand a chance of getting a replacement part from almost any drive line shop. This also nets a longer drive shaft with the center of the universal joint closer to the pinion bearing.
