Product DescriptionThe Baja Designs S2 Pro IR(Infrared)/S1 White light kit for the Sur-Ron Light Bee X electric motorcycle offers riders the ultimate lighting solution for both stealthy operations and high-performance nighttime adventures. Developed for the United States Special Forces, this kit is outfitted with an S2 Pro IR light in a choice of 850nm or 940nm wavelength for seamless integration with IR nods. This allows riders to see what's ahead without shining a beacon from their bike, making them less visibile to those that they don't want to be seen by. For white light operations, the S1 auxiliary light's durable construction can withstand rugged environments ensuring reliability in the harshest conditions. Featuring our advanced LED technology and a larger reflector, the S1 light delivers 2,320 per light of raw lumens that illuminate zones 1, 2 while pushing into zone 3 with the included wide cornering lens. This will allow you to take these powerful yet nimble electric motorcycles further and faster with confidence. Each light can be operated independently from one another thanks to the included harness. What sets this kit apart from any other Sur-Ron kits on the market is the included Baja Designs molle panels for the front and rear of the bike. In 1992, Baja Designs was founded in San Diego, California with a passion and thirst for off-road. Performance-driven and race proven – Baja Designs engineers and manufacturers using only the best components available on the market today. The first product developed was a Dual Sport kit that made pure off-road motorcycles minimally street legal. Our intimate knowledge of motorcycle electrical capabilities eventually led us to engineer the first HID motorcycle race light. Founder and Lead engineer Alan Roach, an avid Baja 1000 motorcycle racer, was able to fine-tune a motorcycle’s limited light optics to maximize rider comfort, speed, and safety. As a result, BD lights have won every professional and amateur motorcycle and ATV Baja 1000 class for over 15 years.
As our engineers and racers advanced to truck and buggy racing, the next evolution began. The engineers quickly adapted their race-winning HID motorcycle lights to their new race vehicles. With amazing speed, BD HID lights were adopted by the vehicle race community and could be found on the majority of Baja 1000 winning vehicles. In the process, BD engineers became well known as “The Scientists of Lighting” and were sought out by professional race teams to develop and aim their vehicle lighting.
