Pro Series Brake Controller Comparison

Updated March 2, 2016 by Partsengine Canada

PartsEngine Canada is your one-stop source for brake controllers, we offer five different two different models of Pro Series brake controllers to provide the right fit for your towing setup and budget.

The Pilot brake controller has just made owning and operating a digital brake control easier than ever. Because of the flexible mounting options, you are able to mount the Pilot in any direction. Our microprocessor allows you the ability to read the display even when the Pilot is mounted upside down. The Pilot’s digital display shows voltage output to the brakes with additional protection against short circuit or loss of ground. Capable for handling up to 3 axle trailers.

The POD (Power On Demand) brake controller is your best choice for 1 or 2 axle trailers, especially when your installation options are limited. The POD can be mounted in any direction, and its unique design features "up-front-easy-access” adjustment controls, even when mounted upside down.

Why you need Breakaway Systems

In the unlikely but dangerous case that your trailer becomes loose and disconnects, a breakaway system will apply the trailer brakes the moment the trailer becomes unhitched. This safety system is required by law in many provinces. Even if not required by law in your province, breakaway systems are a great addition to any towing set up to give peace of mind while towing that your trailer is safe.
